Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Officer to support our leadership team across technical coordination, market interactions, operational execution, and strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy diverse responsibilities, can communicate effectively with external partners, and thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Business, Market & Strategic Activities

• Approach equipment suppliers, vendors, and technology partners to gather capability information, quotations, and product details.

• Engage with potential customers to understand applications, pain points, and detailed problem statements.

• Conduct structured market research on industry trends, current technologies, competitor capabilities, and customer requirements.

• Review and summarize proposals, new ideas, and business opportunities for leadership evaluation.

• Support vendor negotiations, supplier onboarding, and procurement planning.

Technical Evaluation & Tool Assessment

• Evaluate CAD, CAE, simulation, and design software tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus, HyperMesh) to determine suitability for the technical problems being worked on.

• Compare technical capabilities, licensing models, cost, learning curve, and integration requirements.

• Prepare concise recommendation reports to help management choose the most efficient tools for design, analysis, and simulation tasks.

Technical & Operational Support

• Execute and coordinate technical activities such as website setup, domain/email configuration, basic IT support, and system administration.

• Maintain organized technical documentation, reports, and process trackers.

Hiring & Administrative Coordination

• Support recruitment processes including drafting job descriptions, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.

• Compile and organize internal documents, reports, meeting notes, and presentations.

Meetings & Communication

• Organize scheduled and unscheduled meetings; prepare agendas, capture accurate minutes, track action items, and follow up to ensure closure.

Project & Process Management

• Maintain dashboards, project trackers, documentation repositories, and workflow structures.

• Identify operational gaps and contribute to building scalable and efficient processes.

Qualifications

Education

• B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. in any engineering/science discipline or equivalent technical degree.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in engineering operations, technical coordination, or business/technical support roles.

• Fresh graduates with excellent organization and analytical skills may also apply.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with external stakeholders (customers, vendors, suppliers).

• Analytical, documentation, and summarization abilities.

• Ability to evaluate engineering software tools and compare technical features.

• Exposure to vendor management, technical research, or proposal analysis is beneficial.
